This made me smile lots.
As an antidote to The Sunday Times' Rich List where you can read how much money the super rich have, The Independent on Sunday compiled The Happy List.
The top 100 people in the UK who make Britain a happier and better place to be.
Becky has had her baby!!!!!!!
Will leave her to fill in the details on her return!
Happy happy days!
........yes I know I haven't done a post in a while.........bloody travelling husbands, sons with a better social life than me and climbing Tillys means I have no time. Also have been a lazy arse. Anyway, no doubt mammoth waffle coming up soon. But for now I need some help.
There has been a song driving me up the bloody wall......keep hearing it on the radio, then getting to destination before it finishes so never hearing the artist. They do do this thing here where you can text in to the radio station and they'll tell you the title and artist of the song playing, but I keep forgetting the number!
Anyway, not much to go on so good luck.
It is a female singer. Bit folky. Goes on about being in love with someone from her toes to the end of her nose.
See?????? That's all there is! No more clues! Just really like it!
Anyone who can get it from this I bow down to you!
Am even putting this on general view in case anyone outside my neighbourhood can get it.
Answers on a postcard.
I thank you!
Cars are stupidly expensive here but I am spending so much on taxis, that we worked out it would be cheaper for me to have a very (very!) old run around. (cheapest is still at least 4000 squidlies)
Justin saw one that looked ideal and the owner agreed to bring it round yesterday. However, as it turned out J couldn't be here so it was up to me to give it the once over. Now, what I know about cars could be written on the back of a postage stamp at least twice over and there'd still be room left over.
Well, I checked the boot to make sure it was big enough for the buggy and shopping. The children's car seats would fit in. Colour was ok. So, needed to ask questions about the car itself.............
"Does it have a name?"
Sometimes I despair of myself......I really do!
Hurrah to being back online. Daily I would ring Justin and say have you sorted the connection out yet? yes I know i could have got off my bum and done it myself but hey, he is in charge and besides I was a tad busy unpacking all the crap i have accumulated over the past 9 years and trying to crowd control two kids. And Singapore has decided to come out in sympathy with the UK and has been pissing down for days so haven't even been able to send the rugrats outside. Argh!!!! Honestly, anyone thinking of moving with two kids and no relatives around to take the kids.............................................don't do it. Still got loads to unpack and sort out. Bathrooms have no cupboards and no shelves and I am the Queen of Unused but Must Keep Just Incase beauty products. Have two huge plastic boxes full. You know those massive ones that come on wheels. And where is it going to go??! Wardrobe I hear you cry? Er, well Justin and I are sharing one. Yes, one wardrobe between us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 90% of the space as despite my clothes being a tenth of the size of his, I have at least fifty times more items than he does. And I have thrown away 10 bin bags full. Oh joy. And my sister (and family of five) arrives on Sunday........ hmmmmmmmmm. Harry Potter's wand anyone? Did manage to find time to have read it by Sunday night though, 36 hours after I got it! Not surprised I am so behind on unpacking!
OK, best go, this was just a quickie to say helllllooooooo. Will be back later to read up on all news. Hope you are all well and Becky, that babythree is growing well. And that the three new additions, Neve, Jake and Esme are continuing to be ickle stars. (All gorgeous names.......girls you did well!!!!!)
Much love Sxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
V quick as in midst of packing and trying to be a Mummy............................failing miserably on all accounts.
OK, mind wandering........have been thinking about the kids' rooms in our new place. Walls are all white and we cannot paint them. Thought I'd get some Stickarounds so looked on their website. Is this the only place that do stuff like this? Or are there any other companies? Have had a look around but cannot find any. Looked briefly on e-bay too. Want more variety than Stickarounds offer. Although do like their jungle one. (Finn saw them and wants the pinkie flowers one.........hmmmmm!)
Ta for any help
Gotta run. x
